Fcitx 5 is a versatile input method framework released under the LGPL-2.1+ license, designed to accommodate multiple languages and user preferences.

Supported Languages:

<li>English, with integrated spellcheck capabilities</li>
<li>Chinese, supporting Pinyin, Shuangpin, Wubi, Cangjie, and user-defined tables (T9 Pinyin not supported)</li>
<li>Vietnamese, utilizing UniKey as a basis, with support for Telex, VNI, and VIQR input methods</li>
</ul>
